Dear friend,

As my wife and I step into a new phase of our lives, we write to you asking you to pray for us and consider supporting us financially.

We believe God has called me to pursue full-time theological education as part of my preparations to be a pastor. We arrived at this decision after doing a 10-month part-time pastoral internship with New City Fellowship Bangalore. The purpose of the internship was to discern whether this is what God wants us to do. Through the internship we received our answer. With much prayer and the support of our church, we were able to step into this decision.

I have desired to pastor a church as part of God's mandate to fill the earth with the knowledge of the glory of God (Rom 15:20-21). I believe the Lord has been preparing me throughout my entire life to serve him by serving the church as a pastor. Over the years, He has given me a deep love for Himself, for His Word, for His church, and for the act of teaching.

I will be studying with Solas Theological Seminary for the next three years. As part of its mission, the seminary is waiving off all tuition fees for the course. There will be administrative fees which is also being covered by generous donors. In addition to this, we have regular living expenses as well.

We trust that God will provide us with all we need according to his glorious riches. In fact, we’ve already seen his amazing provisions. Since both of us were teachers, we decided to put down our papers at the end of last academic year (Arpana stopped teaching on account of her pregnancy -- we are expecting our little one to arrive in the first week of October). We received our last salaries from the school in the beginning of May. Since then, we’ve been experiencing the gracious provision of our Father. Every need of ours has been met so far. And we know that he will continue to provide for us.

The church is supporting a portion of our living expenses. At the bottom of this page, we have shared a breakdown of our monthly living needs. The total comes up to ₹56000. Currently, we are receiving ₹28000 from church and other sources. There is still a need of ₹32000.
